We’ve been fully online all semester.
The biggest issue in my opinion though is that our district won’t make a decision about just continuing online, or going back hybrid. Yes, we keep getting pushed back by our governor, but I just wish the district would call it for the semester so everyone knows what to expect, regardless of the politics. I’m fairly certain that won’t happen though, because the politics in my district are different from the state as a whole. Stop fighting and do what’s best for the kids. Oof.

How is it going so far? Do you teach virtual and in-person at the same time?
I am at a fairly small rural school, and we have been in person since August.
We have had a few students out off and on, but we are doing well, and it seems the students are glad to be here instead of at home.

Cool!
Our district near Minneapolis, MN began as distance learning.
We are in the process of going to hybrid learning with a tiered star beginning with pre-K, K, and grade 1. After 2 weeks grades 2-3 will be added, the following week will be grades 4-5. It may change as cases may go up.

I am also in MN. We are currently in the hybrid model. Our covid numbers are going up, and it won't be long before the middle and high schools will be full distance. Elementary will stay hybrid until the numbers for our county are higher. So many moving parts to everything!
Our district has been online since March.
It has been exhausting.

I created 5 math Jamboard games for my team.
I linked them all in the video below. Kids can play SYNCHRONOUSLY and independently of the teacher. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xc1jj0qm_Bk&t=87s

Oh wow. Thanks! Thats never happened to me before. Hope it all goes well for teachers and students.
We have been fully remote also. Our district finally decided that we will be remote through the holidays. At least families and teachers can plan now. I hope your district decides soon!
