About This Lesson
Students work with group members to research and explore any traditional games from their own culture or from any other culture around the world. Then, they will use their findings as inspiration to design a new game that promotes unity and celebrates culture. They will focus on any culture that they decide on as a group, or try to incorporate various cultures into the game. Each group will create a set of instructions for their game, using clear, sequential steps. For their final presentation, students will showcase the traditional games created, and explain how it celebrates diversity and unity.
